Some details look normal, but Scammy found a few things worth verifying before you tap links or send money.

Why Scammy thinks thisChecks text, UI clues, domains, pressure tactics, and suspicious requests.

How it works

Add screenshots, paste optional context, and get a calm, actionable risk readout. Scammy is built for quick checks, not fear-driven warnings.

1

Add screenshots

Select up to five images from Photos. The app normalizes image uploads so the AI can read screenshots reliably.

2

Review signals

Scammy looks for impersonation, pressure tactics, payment risk, suspicious links, and other fraud indicators.

3

Take safer next steps

Get a verdict, score, evidence, and a checklist for verifying through official channels.

Privacy-first by design

Screenshots and text are processed transiently by the backend for AI analysis. Scan history stays on your device and auto-deletes after 30 days unless you clear it sooner.

No server history

The backend is stateless for scan and chat content. It does not intentionally store screenshots, message text, or AI outputs.

Local history

Your device stores the scan result, screenshot files, optional text, checklist state, and chat messages.

Official-channel mindset

Scammy encourages independent verification through official apps, websites, and phone numbers you find yourself.
